The innovative no-boil-over insert stops those annoying messy spills when cooking potatoes, pasta, rice, beans, and more, giving you the freedom to simultaneously focus on other tasks.
The silicone insert, which is BPA-free, recirculates boiling water back into the pot.
The silicone insert allows for stirring and additional seasoning via its central opening. The stay-cool handles make the insert easily removable without touching the pot.
This Calphalon Classic Pots & Pans nonstick cookware set is constructed from hard-anodized aluminum and features convenient pour spouts, tempered glass lids with integrated strainers, and measuring marks.
The cookware is oven-safe up to 450 degrees F. You can safely use the cookware with gas, electric, glass, and halogen stovetops. Note that the cookware is hand wash only, though the silicone insert is top-rack dishwasher-safe.
Set includes 2 x frying pans – 8″ and 10″, 2.5 qt. saucepan with cover + no boil-over insert, 1x sauté pan with cover – 3 qt., and 1x 6 qt. stockpot with cover + no boil-over insert.
