The Baker Sofa is available in an array of colors, 3 different upholstered finishes, including pure cashmere, Boucle wool, and velvet, and with 2 different leg finishes – natural ash and walnut satin.
In 1951, the Baker Couch Sofa was designed by Finn Juhl. The sofa’s sculptural forms are inspired by modern free art – almost needless to say, an art form that very much interested Finn Juhl.
The vintage Baker Sofa has an upholstered body divided in two and rests upon an elegantly light and solid ash wood construction. The piece makes for a typical example of how Finn Juhl separated the elements as a way of creating a visual lightness.
This Modern Fabric Sofa is upholstered in your choice of pure cashmere, Boucle wool, or velvet. It can also be upholstered in leather. Please note that the lower and upper back and seat cushions may be different colors.
Please note that to provide assurance that your wood and fabric sofa is produced to the highest quality standards, all pieces are custom made. This means that production lead times are fairly extensive – typically 12-16 weeks.
